This presentation will include the benefits of providing assembly operators with disabilities actual 3D printed tooling, fixtures, and custom accommodations. The talk will include highlights from a recent Additive Manufacturing Magazine featuring the findings of our study that improve productivity and personnel well-being. Specific case studies will present at least three individuals within our production group that have benefited tremendously from the use of 3D printed tooling.
In addition, the presentation will detail the implementation of a 3D printing initiative with the company, the cost benefits of incorporating 3D printing into a manufacturing group, as well as a reasonable timeframe for the return on investment. We will describe specific instances of how the printed aids have served as an educational resource by facilitating interaction with local Vocational-Technical schools and well as regional colleges and universities.
