Process Development

The Process Development track focuses on the innovations and methodologies that are advancing AM from prototyping to full-scale production. Experts from industry, academia, and research organizations will explore how process optimization, monitoring, and control are driving repeatability, quality, and efficiency across technologies such as powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, binder jetting, and material extrusion.

Sessions will highlight advances in process parameter development, in-situ monitoring, and simulation tools that enable faster qualification and improved reliability of parts. Case studies will demonstrate how organizations are tackling challenges such as porosity, residual stress, and surface finish while scaling AM for demanding applications. Discussions will also address the role of automation, data-driven insights, and digital twins in accelerating process maturity.

Delegates will gain practical strategies for improving performance, reducing costs, and industrializing additive manufacturing through smarter, more robust process development.
