The skill gap is growing and talent shortages are already here. Over the next decade nearly 3.5M manufacturing jobs will be needed and over 2M jobs will be unfilled due to lack of skilled workers. Industry, as a whole is feeling the impact of talent shortages to meet customer demand. Take on the skills gap by giving students the tools to learn, explore ideas and test designs using technologies that are becoming industry standard. Integrating 3D printing into your curriculum and training will equip students/employers for the jobs we depend on today and for the future. The companies that design, manufacture and develop are all using 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing in their processes and will be leaning on the next generation of employees to lead their companies in this transition.
