Point-of-care medical 3D printing has now come to the forefront as a current/future regulatory concern of the FDA. Best practices need to be defined to ensure safe and reliable patient care. In this town hall we will host 3 panel sessions and engage in an open forum with all attendees on best practices for medical 3D printing at the point-of-care. This discussion will include topics including: utilization, low risk devices, verification and validation, and cleared medical systems. Topics discussed and deemed critically important to the future of point-of-care 3D printing will be briefed to the SME AM Medical Advisory Team.
