Dr. Angelo Tardugno is an experienced software engineering leader in the additive manufacturing industry. Based in Cambridge, UK, he holds a PhD in Bioengineering from Imperial College London and began his professional career at Siemens PLM, contributing to the development of Solid Edge and Parasolid. For the past 12 years, he has been with GrabCAD and Stratasys, initially working on cloud-based collaboration tools for engineers. After GrabCAD’s acquisition by Stratasys, he focused on data import and CAD interoperability before transitioning into his current role as an Engineering Manager, overseeing GrabCAD Print, the print preparation software for all Stratasys printers. He has also been actively involved in the 3MF consortium for the past six years, advocating for its adoption to enhance interoperability and unlock the full potential of 3D printing.
