Behrang Poorganji, PhD

Dr. Behrang Poorganji is a Vice President of Material Technology at Morf3D. Behrang has more than 20 years of experience in advanced metallic materials processing with 10 years of direct experience with Metal Additive Manufacturing. Dr. Poorganji has extensive experience in serving at different management, and leadership technical positions in Japan, Canada, and the USA in aerospace, power management, and automotive industries. Behrang has served as a senior advisor and consultant working with several firms and industries worldwide in the Additive Manufacturing providing solutions for full industrialization, and successful AM adoption. Most recently, Dr. Poorganji served as a Professor and Director of Advanced Manufacturing at The University of Toledo, and he was a former VP of Advanced Technology, Beehive Industries, and Director of materials technology organization at GE Additive. Behrang led research and engineering teams on AM materials design, AM process development, powder processes, AM materials behavior, and characterization. Behrang holds a Ph.D. in metallurgy and materials processing from Tohoku University in Japan, and MBA in General Management and Strategy from California State University.
