Brigitte de Vet-Veithen is CEO at Materialise, a global leader in 3D-printing software and services. She has substantial experience in business transformations and new business development, including building and developing businesses across Europe and Asia; establishing new business models; and developing additional offerings (often services) to enhance the value for the customer. de Vet-Veithen has also turned businesses around by driving efficiencies and cost reductions, building and acquiring new growth platforms while shaping partnerships and alliances. She successfully divested companies with substantial value after turnaround. de Vet-Veithen rationalizes and accelerates R&D programs to generate short-term growth and ensure long-term sustainability of business. She has an MBA from INSEAD (1993), a master's in business with a major in engineering (1993) and bachelor's in business administration from the Aston Business School (1991) from HEC Liège.
