Carolyn Carradero Santiago was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Carradero received her BS degree in Physics and Electronics in the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao in 2017. Carradero is currently a Materials Science and Engineering PhD at Youngstown State University. She has done research in several areas such as simulation of solar cells during her Bachelor’s in the University of Puerto Rico as well as in The Pennsylvania State University and Princeton University, simulating mixed matrices and engineering microwave circuits for quantum computing, respectively. Currently her research work is focused on 3D printed wearable electronics, where she wants to integrate Additive Manufactured components that can be customized for a part.
