Christopher Agritellis currently serves as the Quality Engineer of the 3D Medical Applications Center (3D MAC), a point of care additive manufacturing facility within Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. In this role, Christopher is developing and integrating a quality management system to enhance tracking, controls, and validation of outputs for the diverse services that 3D MAC provides to Walter Reed and other DoD healthcare facilities. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering, with a focus in medical device development, at the University of Maryland. Through this position, Christopher has merged a passion for medical device engineering with emerging additive manufacturing technologies, while also preparing 3D MAC for potential future regulatory oversight of Point of Care manufacturing.
