Josh Norman is a Sr. Principal Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Collins Aerospace, where he supports the development and execution of Power & Controls’ AM Strategy. Josh is an RTX subject matter expert in Laser Powder Bed Fusion Machine Qualification and is one of the architects of RTX’s Q3+ process. He was responsible for developing the process parameters for RTX’s first on-wing flight tested AM heat exchanger as well as RTX’s first AM heat exchanger scheduled for on-orbit testing. Josh has over a decade of experience industrializing both traditional Powder Metal and Laser Powder Bed Fusion processes. He is an active member of ASTM’s F42 committee and is an inventor on six US patents related to additive manufacturing processing and component design. Josh holds two degrees in Mechanical Engineering: a B.S. from Grove City College and an M.S. from Penn State.
