Kris Binon graduated as a Master in Nautical Sciences and continued, while working, studies on international and intercultural management, as well as Disaster Studies. His professional career has been diverse so far: sales engineer in the technical textile industry, various positions in disaster management, representative for the Red Cross in Nepal and developing SME’s in Africa for the organisation Exchange. In 2015, he became the first General Manager of the Benelux AM Association, Flam3D, an influential AM business group with 130 paying members. From there, he moved on to HYBRID Software in April 2023 to set up the new AM Business Unit, AMIS. AMIS provides novel solutions for Build Preparation for Jetting technologies and SLS.
