Malini Dusey is currently employed as a senior applications engineer in additive manufacturing at General Motors. She has been involved with developing and designing manufacturing tools using FDM Additive Technology to improve safety, ergonomics, lead time and cost in assembly operations within the automotive sector.
Malini holds a bachelor’s degree from IIT Kanpur, India, and a PhD in chemical engineering from University of Notre Dame, IN, USA.
Her career highlights include R&D and manufacturing/quality within the plastics industry. She has held positions of increasing responsibilities at Hoechst Celanese (Ticona), BASF and TransNav. Her contributions to the industry were recognized at the 2020 WOC conference where she was the recipient of the Technology All Star Award. She is actively engaged with the youth in her community, where she mentors and tutors middle and high school students in STEM.
