Maurice Kardas is Business Development Manager at Royal HaskoningDHV, an independent, international engineering consultancy delivering services to enhance our built environment. With over 25 years’ experience across Europe, Middle East and Asia, Maurice has a track record in delivering innovative projects in the transport sector. He is currently responsible for managing Royal HaskoningDHV’s portfolio in fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) projects. Since early 2019, the company has been designing bridges made of thermoplastics filled with chopped glass fiber, all with an emphasis on contributing to a circular economy through the use of recyclable materials. Working in close collaboration with DSM, the partnership has led to the launch the world’s first lightweight 3D printed FRP bridge. Maurice is now leading a team at Royal HaskoningDHV to drive the development and delivery of 3D printed FRP bridges. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the Windesheim University of Applied Sciences.
