Dr. Randall Kania has been working at ATR in Beltsville, MD since early 2024. ATR is a defense contractor that specializes in robotics and control systems. His primary focus is the instrumentation of additive manufacturing systems for early failure detection and prediction. Currently his work is supporting the NAVSEA AM Afloat program for utilizing additive manufacturing aboard Naval vessels. Prior to working at ATR, he was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park.
