Tamas Havar, PhD, has been leading engineering, production, operations and R&D at Airbus, Boeing, Blue Origin and Gulfstream for over 20 years. As an executive, he has led international teams and global departments in the field of disruptive innovations, additive manufacturing (3D printing), innovative composites, new electrical components, integration and assembly as well as airworthiness certification. As a director, Havar led Boeing Additive Manufacturing site in Auburn, WA, as well as M&P with the AM department at Blue Origin and is now spear heading the AM efforts at Gulfstream. He obtained his doctorate in 2007 and master’s degree from University of Stuttgart in 2001, respectively. Havar served on the board for the handbook on aircraft structures used for aircraft certification and spoke at several international conferences. Havar holds more than 10 patents in the field of aerospace innovations and has several publications.
