Telly Tucker joined IALR as its first President in 2022, providing strategic leadership of regional economic transformation and oversight of impactful programs like Accelerated Training in Defense Manufacturing (ATDM), Great Opportunities in Technology and Engineering Careers (GO TEC®) and participation in Virginia’s AM2 Tech Hub project. Named to the Virginia 500 Power List multiple years, Tucker previously worked in economic development, including his most recent stint as Director of Arlington Economic Development, which landed companies like Boeing’s Global Headquarters and Microsoft while continuing to build on the momentum of Amazon HQ2.
