Thomas has been with FCA, LLC for more than 30 years, with 24 years as Supervisor - Vehicle Engineering Development, Rapid Prototyping Development, Wood, Plastic, CNC, and Carbon Fiber Shops. He has over 30 years of experience in automotive design and engineering and more than 24 years of experience in rapid prototyping. Along with publishing numerous articles in the field of rapid prototyping, rapid tooling, and photoelastic stress analysis using Stereolithography, he has been a presenter/speaker at several technical conferences. Thomas’s affiliation with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers includes 25 years on the Advisory Committee for the Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing Conference; co-chair of the Bright Minds Mentor Program; Board of Advisors, Rapid Prototyping Association of SME; and AUTOFACT Advisory Committee. He is currently a Technical Advisor for the RAPID event and holds the Master Level Certificate for Rapid Prototyping. He also serves as an Executive Board Member for the Additive Manufacturing Users Group for 25 years. In 2007, Thomas was voted by his industry peers as one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in Rapid Product Development and Rapid Manufacturing by TCT Magazine (UK). TCT Magazine is a leader in RP and RP related technologies.
