Walker has been working at the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) for about three years. He works on the Additive Manufacturing Modernization team within the Materials Division, implementing AM technology and innovation onto current and future Army ground vehicles. His primary focus areas have been metal AM, expeditionary AM, point-of-need and part repair AM, and design for additive manufacturing (DFAM). Prior to working at GVSC, Walker graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA where he majored in Engineering. Walker is currently pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
