Kenneth H. Church, PhD, began work on printed electronics in 1999 on a DARPA program. He began printing biomaterials in 2001 on another DARPA program. His team developed the first commercial bioprinter and went on the market in 2002. He is a pioneer in 3D-printed electronics and printed circuit structures. Dr. Church has authored and presented over 50 publications/technical presentations and more than a dozen patents or patents pending.
