Dr. Dickinson is the founding President of 3F, LLC, a small company in NC commercializing new advanced materials for additive manufacturing. Prior to founding 3F, his experience includes working at three small businesses (two start-ups), two Fortune 500 companies, two universities and one National Lab. He has over 30 years of experience in the development and commercialization of fibers and composite materials; has authored dozens of manuscripts (published and proprietary) and multiple patents. He has two engineering BS degrees and a co-major MS from NC State University, as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Science from the College of William and Mary.
