Industry consultant, analyst, author, and speaker Terry Wohlers has helped more than 280 organizations in 27 countries. Also, he has provided advice to nearly 200 companies in the investment community. Wohlers has authored 440 books, magazine articles, and technical papers and has given more than 180 keynote presentations on six continents in cities ranging from Seoul and Pretoria to São Paulo and Bangalore. He is a principal author of the Wohlers Report, the undisputed, industry-leading publication on the additive manufacturing and 3D printing industry. Wohlers has twice been a featured speaker at the White House and has appeared on many television and radio news programs. Among them are Al Jazeera, Australia’s Sky News, Bloomberg TV, CBS Radio News, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, MSNBC, and NPR. In May 2004, Wohlers received an Honorary Doctoral Degree from Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The following year, he became a Fellow of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. In 2007, Wohlers was selected as the #1 most influential person in rapid product development and additive manufacturing. In 2016, he became an Adjunct Professor at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and was inducted into the TCT Hall of Fame in 2022. The same year, Wohlers became a Distinguished Fellow of Advanced Manufacturing at ASTM International.
