Daniel Rothfuss holds a PhD in Physics and worked in the field of Complex Quantum Dynamics before he joined Henkel in 2015. Daniel started in the Industrial Adhesives Technologies Business at Henkel, where he was responsible for the application development using special adhesives, e.g., for sound deadening or thermal management. Since the end of 2016, Daniel has been working in the field of polymer additive manufacturing in various positions, covering different technologies like UV curing polymers, powder bed systems and developing engineering and post processing solutions. Currently, Daniel is the Global Head of Product Development and Application Engineering at Loctite 3D Printing leading a team of scientists and engineers. Within his function he and his teams work with global printer manufactures and industrial partners to develop and validate novel UV-Curing Resins in close collaboration with the responsible application and R&D teams. In addition, his team is also responsible for identifying and conducting tests to generate necessary data to enable partners and end-customers to unlock new applications based on relevant industrial standards and norms.
