Timothy works in the additive manufacturing of carbon fiber/thermoplastic composite materials via fused filament fabrication and automated fiber placement, focusing on the intersection of processing, design optimization, materials, and properties. Before starting graduate school, he worked as a processing engineer for a metal laser powder bed fusion OEM. He received his Masters and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 2023, and is currently working as a postdoctoral scholar at University of California, San Diego. He is open for new opportunities in summer 2024.
